Well hello there! I am Laura Aiken a creative person specializing in modern mosaic artwork. I custom create mosaic murals, backsplashes, wall art and unique signage for commercial and residential spaces. But you say you don't see many mosaics here? Well that is because I also dabble in watercolors and anything else that I can to get my hands on! You see I just love creating and mostly with a brush. I only work with mosaic as a custom order and a little decor. That's a long story longer, but thought you should know.

My inspiratation comes from almost everything in nature, books, video, music, love and dreams. I can't go without mentioning painter Henri Matisse-my main inspiration and painter Amadeo Modgliani.

With that being said, at the present I am loving creating girlie girls and cute motifs. These girls are created on rice paper and/or wood, sometimes they are even on cardboard! Perfect for any girl's decor.

I am excited to introduce my brand new mosaic pendants. I have the best time making these beautiful pendants, which are created with recycled mosaic glass pieces and tiny silver and glass beads. These modern wearable art pieces also can be custom made with up to 5 letters. Really unique and beautiful.
