Something old, something new, something borrowed, something-

In the coming months you will be seeing more artwork done with mixed media from me. This portrait was created using a pulled art technique used from Mystele who's artwork is so unique and impressive, and Suzi Blu's online classes whom I can say the same for --(their information is invaluable.Totally two different artists but whom I have such a fondness for. Oh, I had better mention Julia Peters who never ceases to amaze me.

As a mosaic artist I love texture, so it seems that with everything I create has texture-as you see in this piece. You will see more of her maybe in the future because I will be adding more elements to her...or maybe not.

Have a great weekend!

wow laura ~ really liking the effect of this technique!
isn't the whole process of exploring and trying new things so amazingly satisfying, especially when the results are SO cool!
cheers ~

I was in your studio for the first time during Open Studios. I was so impressed! You are very talented! It was busy in there with many customers. I didn't want to interrupt to introduce myself. I live nearby, so I'll drop back in soon! I'm following your blog, now! ~Kay
